Several members of the Utah State football team have been charged with marijuana possession.
Junior quarterback Jordan Love, junior wide receiver Sean Carter and senior running back Gerold Bright were all charged with the misdemeanor. Another USU student, track and field athlete Elani Rice, was also charged.
All four were released at the scene by police after being cited, Logan police Assistant Chief Jeff Simmons said.
You would hope that the players would be a little bit smarter about things. But who is calling the police on a college campus over weed?
Unfortunately this is probably going to hurt their chances at playing in a bowl game this season.
