The re-launch of the XFL came to an unceremonious end last Friday when the league announced they were suspending operations and laying off all of their employees.
On Monday the league filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on behalf of Alpha Entertainment, which is owned by WWE chairman Vince McMahon.
In the filing it was revealed that all of the league’s head coaches would still be paid. The highest salary belonging to former Renegades head coach Bob Stoopes, who is owed over a million dollars still.
