The US women’s hockey team beat Canada 3-2 to take home the gold medal in the Winter Olympics.
The gold winning goal came on a shootout goal by Jocelyne Lamoureux, who put the Canadian goalie into a blender.

Lamoureux’s goal was then followed by a stop by goalie Meghan Agosta. It took 20 years, but the US Women’s hockey team has taken home the gold again.
The win is payback for four years ago when the US lost to Canada in the gold medal game. Payback makes the gold that much sweeter.
For the first time in 20 years, @TeamUSA @usahockey's women hear their national anthem played with gold around their necks. pic.twitter.com/CjWqNTLq9x
