The Seattle Mariners put on an extreme shift against Joey Gallo of the Rangers.  They only had one player on the left side of the field, the leftfielder stood in left-centerfield.

Did Gallo take the free base and lay down a bunt for an easy hit?  No, the sub .200 hitter went down swinging.

The game of baseball has been forever ruined.  Drop down the bunt and take the easy base.  Baserunners lead to runs, it’s really that simple.

Gallo is the perfect example of what a sub .200 hitter with a beer league softball swing looks like.  In other words, he’s trash.
