Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been working with the same stunt double, Tanoai Reed, for years, and he decided to show his appreciation to Reed by hooking him up with a new truck. It also just so happens to be his Cousin.
The Rock caught the surprise on video after telling Reed that they were doing an interview about their careers, only to reveal that he was gifting his friend a lifted Ford F-150.
The WWE wreslter turned movie star posted. “Over the course of my career, my stunt double (and cousin) Tanoai Reed @samoanstuntman has broken multiple bones, severed tendons, torn ligaments & just been an overall dominating bad ass achieving several ‘Stuntman of the Year’ honors.
“All done with one goal in mind – deliver the best movie possible to the world. I had this custom pick up truck delivered just in time to surprise him (he’s still recovering from a stunt injury) while we give what he thought was going to be an interview about our careers together.”
The Rock is an amazing human being. Just imagine being lucky enough to be in his inner circle. You never know when you’re going to be gifted a brand new car.
