Red Sox pitcher Joe Kelly and Yankees outfielder Tyler Austin just reignited the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry.  A bench clearing brawl started by a fastball to the ribs.

The pitch by Kelly was in retaliation to a slide by Austin into Red Sox infielder Brock Holt.  A slide that he was called out on for slide interference.

This should make for a very entertaining 2018 between what was once the most fierce rivalry in all of sports.  Expect plenty of hit batters and punches thrown the rest of the way.
