The Red Sox are planning to reduce their payroll this offseason and in order to do that they could trade former MVP outfielder Mookie Betts.
According to the latest reports, the Red Sox and Dodgers are discussing a deal for Betts. The deal could also include one of their very expensive pitchers.
The Dodgers have shifted their focus to acquiring Betts after failing to get a deal done with the Indians for Francisco Lindor.
