The Rams Attempted a Fake Field Goal and Were Robbed by a Terrible Spot

In the second quarter of what was a tied game between the Rams and Saints, the Rams attempted a fake field goal. Holder and punter Johnny Hekker took the snap and ran for the first down marker.

As Hekker went to the ground he stuck the ball out and appeared to pickup the first down. He was marked short and the call was upheld when it was challenged.
