It was announced on Monday afternoon that the New England Patriots landed 27-year-old receiver Josh Gordon from the Cleveland Browns for a 5th round pick.
The Patriots lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, in part, because they were able to shutdown Rob Gronkowski. They don’t have many options at the moment beyond Gronk.
The addition of Gordon, if they can get him on the field, will be a nice addition. Even when they lose, they win…

And so the Patriots give up a 5th-round pick to get Josh Gordon and get back a late-round pick if he isn't active for 10 games, per sources.
Tom Brady has a new target.
