Oxford native Nathan Gerbe is the shortest player in the NHL.
At only 5-feet-4, Gerbe, who is playing for the Columbus Blue Jackets, took on a much taller player in Wednesday night’s game.
Gerbe had a massive hit on Philadelphia Flyer’s captain Claude Giroux near the end of the second period.
