The NHL preseason is here and so are dirty hits by Capitals winger Tom Wilson. He was thrown out of Sunday’s game against the Blues for this big shot to the head of Oskar Sundqvist.

That kind of hit leaves a mark. From the looks of Sundqvist’s face on Monday, it left a couple of marks.

Wilson’s repeated head shots could lead to a suspension. He has an in person hearing on Wednesday morning with the NHL’s Department of Player Safety.

Good luck with that. Suspending Wilson has done little to slow him down in the past.
