It is well known that MMA fights produce very spectacular and intimidating images. One is a fan and the other doesn’t like it, but the business involves millions and the popularity is great. Apart from the fights themselves, what is hidden behind the fighters? You have to be ruthless to force a fight to an end and walk away with the win. Who are the most intimidating fighters in the MMA world? We have listed the best of them for you.
Fedor Emelianenko
If anyone is cold and stoic, it’s him. He seemed like a machine in the way he handled his fights, watch them with the help of your sim only abonnement. With so little expression on his face before, during and after the fight, it was as if nothing really interested him. So neither are his opponents. He is seen as some sort of mythical figure who was undefeated for 10 years. Fedor Emelianenko is often referred to as the best heavyweight MMA fighter there has been.
Chuck Liddell
In the early zeroes, Chuck Liddell had his peak years as an MMA fighter. He looks on the one hand like someone to have a beer with and on the other like someone you don’t want to meet in a dark alley. In addition to his intimidating appearance, thanks in part to his mohawk, he had another characteristic: he was really ruthless in combat. Between 2004 and 2006, he ended every fight with a knockout, up to 7 fights in a row. He would celebrate this so lavishly that it all seemed even more intimidating. In 2010 he finally threw in the towel and ended his career, although he did return in 2018 for a bout against old rival Tito Ortiz. It did, however, earn him a spot in the UFC Hall of Fame.
Cris Cyborg
The only woman on this list was undefeated for 13 years: Cris Cyborg. She is fast and takes the chance at any moment to hit someone and keep hitting without giving them a chance to come up with a counter reaction. Unstoppable and particularly explosive are not misplaced terms in her case and this is also why she is on the list.
Wanderlei Silva
Not only did this man fight mean, he was mean. His fighting style was brutal and he fought like a wild beast. His demeanor outside and inside the cage was always so intimidating that any opponent could get quite nervous before the fight even started. This combined with his looks and his bizarre results make Wanderlei Silva the most intimidating MMA fighter of all time.
Rampage Jackson
Rampage Jackson’s heyday was also early in this century, he even fought Wanderlei Silva thrice. Outside the fights he was a nice man, but once he walks towards the ring he is someone else. A steel chain around his neck and a howl like a wolf on the way to the cage shows this. In fact, he broke Chuck Liddell’s winning streak in his first fight in the UFC by knocking him out in one round.
