The New York Mets somehow batted out of order in the first inning of their game on Wednesday against the Cincinnati Reds. The mistake didn’t go unnoticed and it ended the inning.

The Mets would go on to lose the game 2-1. It’s a vintage Mets move, the exact reason why they can’t have nice things on their side of New York.
The hot start has cooled to the point that their finding new ways to lose games. Mets manager Mickey Callaway took the blame for the mistake and admitted it probably cost them the game.
