The Seattle Mariners turned a routine pop-up to shallow right field into a little league home run.  The ball fell between the second baseman and the right fielder, the ball was then thrown away to allow the batter to score. 

The Mariners are finishing off another disappointing season in style.  It was fun listening to everyone talk about the Mariners contending in the AL West at the beginning of the season though.

We have no doubt the “experts” will make the same predictions next season and try to convince us that the Mariners are a contender.  We also have no doubt that the Mariners will disappoint them again next year too.
