Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made time in his extremely crazy schedule to stop by and talk to the Lakers before their game against the Nuggets in L.A.

The wrestler turned actor met the team, owner Jeanie Buss and president of basketball operations Magic Johnson.  The Lakers included the following quote: 

“Find your anchor each morning, and live life like your back is up against the wall. Moving Forward is the only option!”

Everyone was chomping at the bit to put out their pics with the Rock, here’s Magic’s tweet below: 

Lakers boss in charge Jeanie Buss sent out a tweet as well, praising the Rock. She also sent out an IG posing with herself and Magic. 

Just another day at the #Lakers offices! Seriously I was speechless. I am a huge fan of @therock ( #jumanjimovie was fav summer hit) but nothing prepared me for how handsome, tall and charismatic he was in person. Such generous of him to come and talk to our team. The Rock also chimed in, posting a few pics, and sending out his thanks for allowing him to visit. It was a real love fest in Lakers land. 

This can only mean one thing, The Rock has another movie coming out. This is PR disguised as a random visit to the Lakers. The Rock’s latest movie is Rampage, which I’m pretty sure is based off a video game. I love The Rock as much as the next guy, but he’s more a football guy than a basketball guy.
