A Taylor Swift banner that has been hanging in the Staples Center since August of 2015, to mark her “most sold out performances” record at the venue, will be covered up during Los Angeles Kings home games. The team announced the move before their home opener on Saturday.
According to the team, their fans no longer want to see the banner during games. Probably because it’s a constant reminder of how bad their team is. They finished with the second worst record in the league last year and are now five years removed from their last Stanley Cup victory in 2014.
