Former NFL running back Larry Johnson retired from the league back in 2011. He played for 10 years for the Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, Washington Redskins and Miami Dolphins.
When he left the league, he left without cashing all of his checks. He received a letter over the weekend from the Chiefs regarding an uncashed check from 2010.
Johnson’s largest contract during his playing days guaranteed him $19 million. This is a good sign for Johnson, because he hasn’t searched high and low and cashed all of those uncashed NFL checks.
Congrats to him for having investing his money well. With that said he can go ahead and send that $1,238.11 check my way.
This is a first…..I’ve never gotten a letter from an Ex before telling me I left money at their house.
Thank You @Chiefs , Love LJ ☺️ pic.twitter.com/ZEgNY4vP9R
