The XFL will make its return in 2020 and will have eight teams. The first city to receive a team has been announced.
St. Louis will once again have a professional football team. The XFL is expected to announce the remaining cities next week.

Football is back in St. Louis. Smart move on Vince McMahon’s part. The folks in St. Louis who didn’t support the Rams will definitely support an XFL team.
That’s just simple logic being applied to this decision. It should be interesting to see which other cities the XFL has selected to get a team.
