Baylor had a 28-3 lead at one point over Oklahoma on Saturday night and ended up losing the game 34-31. The Sooners improved to 9-1 and kept their College Football Playoff hopes alive, although quarterback Jalen Hurts didn’t play well and likely ended his Heisman Trophy chances.
We’ve all seen a 28-3 lead be erased before. The Patriots famously did so against the Falcons in the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history.
