The Philadelphia Eagles have ended the quarterback drama and announced on Twitter, what we all kind of already knew, Nick Foles will start the season opener on Thursday.
With Carson Wentz still not cleared for contact it’s really the only choice.

It looks like Philly was tired of watching head coach Doug Pederson fight with media on a daily basis. It’s the all around smart move. The Eagles really don’t need to rush their franchise quarterback back too soon.
Foles is really the only one with anything to lose. If he plays poorly then his free agent stock could go down significantly.
