According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Cleveland Browns are still interested in free agent receiver Dez Bryant. The hang up seems to be with Dez, who hasn’t been willing to meet with them yet.

The reason Dez hasn’t been willing to meet with them could be because of interest from other teams, including the New England Patriots. He was reportedly spotted at their training camp a couple of days ago.

At this point it’s very likely that Dez is holding out until closer to the start of the season so he can avoid the wear and tear of training camp. He’s turned down the Ravens and had interest from the Browns and Patriots.
As the season approaches I think we’ll see him sign with the Patriots, if they truly are interested. That gives him the best shot to win and get his career back on track.
