On Monday evening, one day after quarterback Matt Barkley led the Bills to a blowout win over the Jets, Buffalo announced that they have released Nathan Peterman.

The fact that this announcement came on Monday evening and not Sunday evening should tell you all you need to know about the 2018 Buffalo Bills. They should have released Peterman weeks ago.
And if the Bills were waiting for a viable replacement they found that in Barkley almost immediately on Sunday. They could have let Peterman go at halftime or by Sunday evening at the latest.
Not the Bills, it took another full day for them to come to the conclusion that it was time to move on from the pick six machine.
