The Angels announced on Thursday that they have fired visiting clubhouse manager Brian Harkins after an internal investigation. 

The 30 year employee of the team was providing illegal sticky substances to opposing pitchers.

The MLB informed the Angels of the allegations against Harkins about a week ago.
