Texas pretty much had their way with West Virginia on Saturday in Morgantown. Almost everything the Longhorns attempted seemed to work, including a screen pass to an offensive lineman.
Sophomore tackle Sam Cosmi lined up as a tight end on the trick play, Texas then had quarterback Sam Ehlinger roll to his right and throw a screen pass back across the field to the 6’7″ 300 pounder.
Cosmi put his athletic ability on full display. He caught the pass and turned up field before running through a West Virginia defender at the goal line to score a big man touchdown in the 42-31 win over the Mountaineers.
