Texas defensive lineman Malcolm Roach’s day ended early on Saturday after a helmet-to-helmet hit on Oklahoma receiver CeeDee Lamb during the Red River Showdown. The ejection was easily determined after the clear targeting hit.
The much bigger Roach lowered his head and dove into Lamb, who was already falling to the ground. The hit was completely avoidable and unnecessary.
