The Chiefs and Texans both ended up drafting really good quarterbacks back in 2017. Kansas City ended up with Patrick Mahomes and Houston with Deshaun Watson.
According to the Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller, the Texans attempted to trade up to draft Mahomes, but the Chiefs beat them to it. Kansas City managed to pull off a trade to end up in front of Houston with the No. 10 pick.
All Mahomes has done is win an MVP and a Super Bowl. Watson has been really good as well, but he’s not quite on the Chiefs quarterback’s level.
