Texans Agree to Trade Jadeveon Clowney to the Seahawks for a 3rd Round Pick and Two Players

In return for Clowney, who held out and refused to sign a franchise tag with the Texans, Houston is getting Seattle’s 2020 third-round pick and linebackers Jacob Martin and Barkevious Mingo.

Trading Clowney away seems like an extreme reaction to a guy preferring a lomg-term contract over a franchise tag.  Seattle gets a pretty good pass-rusher if he can stay healthy.
