The 44 year old receiver, who claims he can still play in the NFL, followed up the claim with an announcement on Friday.
Owens is returning to the NFL, in video game form. He signed with EA Sports and will appear in the 2019 Hall of Fame edition of Madden.

Not exactly the return to the NFL he had hoped for, but at this point, it’s the only return to the league that’s going to happen. Enjoy retirement and wait for a Big3 version of football to startup.
