Tennessee quarterback Brian Maurer left Saturday’s game against Mississippi State in the first half after landing awkwardly on his head. He got up holding both his head and neck after being upended trying to avoid a defender.
This isn’t a hurdle attempt gone wrong by Maurer, he just gets clipped low and ends up going airborne. Unfortunately his head and neck broke his fall.
