During Thursday’s Temple and Tulsa game there was an interesting scene on the Owls’ sideline. Not only is their head coach dressed like a maniac with tight capris on, they had stormtroopers holding up their play cards.

It worked. The Owls won the game 31-17 and at 2-2 they’re holding down first place in American Athletic Conference East. There’s nothing quite like college football.
No word on if any other Star Wars characters are scheduled to make appearances on the Temple sideline going forward. But I’m sure we’ll know about it if they do.
