Miami quarterback Tathan Martell did not attend practice on Monday after the Hurricanes announced that Jarren Williams would be the starter. The Ohio State transfer was expected to attend a team meeting later that night.
There doesn’t seem to be any indication that Martell is preparing to leave Miami, although that could very much be in play. He expected to be the starter when he arrived and could look elsewhere to make that happen.
