Tate Martell is a backup quarterback for the Miami Hurricanes, but his offseason buzz suggested he had starter potential.
Now he’s moving to a new position.
Rumors circulated that Martell was making a move to wide receiver leading up to the season opener against Florida and those rumors were confirmed on Saturday night.
Martell played 15 snaps on Saturday night. Two snaps at quarterback, five snaps in the slot, and eight snaps out wide as a receiver.

This lead him to posting about his new position.
