Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria ran through a stop sign by his third base coach, but managed to score anyway. The throw beat him by a mile and he should have been out easily at the plate.
It turns out Hechavarria is some sort of magician. After avoiding the tag, he managed to dive back towards the playe and use a little misdirection with his hands to touch the plate before being tagged.
Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez did all he could to tag Hechavarria and keel the run off the board, but was no match for the magician. The run proved to be a costly one as the Rays would win the game 2-1.
