Former Bengals receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh told Colin Cowherd a bizarre story about his former team and jock straps.
According to T.J., the year before he joined the team, the Bengals bought used jock straps.
“The year before I got to the Bengals, Willie Anderson was telling me, they didn’t even have jockstraps. They would buy used ones and throw them in the middle of the locker room and say, “Here you go!”
This shouldn’t come as a huge surprise, the Bengals have long been among the NFL’s worst franchises. This is just another story confirming that.
If they were purchasing used jock straps, who knows what else they were doing to cut corners.
