Warriors head coach Steve Kerr showed up to Game 2 of the NBA Finals with a “Vote for our lives” t-shirt. When asked about it he said that it was in response to the most recent shooting at Virginia Beach.
Kerr then said the gun laws in the our country need to be changed.
“The shirt’s a reminder that the only way we can get out of this mess is to actually vote and to vote for people who are going to be willing to create some change in our gun laws in our country.”

I’m not going to go down the stick to sports route, because if he wants to think wearing a t-shirt is actually going to do something, then let him.
I will point out, however, that Game 2 is in Canada and if you want gun laws changed in the U.S. then you should probably at least wear the shirt in the right country.
