Stephen Strasburg Opted Out of the Four Years and $100 Million Remaining on His Deal

BREAKING: Stephen Strasburg has opted out of the final four years and $100M of his deal with the Nationals.

There’s a good chance Strasburg stays put and signs a new deal in Washington.  But there’s also a chance the Nationals don’t offer him enough to stay and he signs elsewhere.

If the Nats want to repeat the success of this season, they better make a strong push to keep him.
