“When I came to the team, I was already smoking,” Jackson told Tom Haberstroh of NBC Sports. “I had hooked up with Matt (Barnes) and he was the one who was already smoking over there. Me and Matt had hooked up instantly. (Marijuana) just went through the team.
“Me and Don Nelson stayed in the same building. I stayed on the 11th floor. He stayed on the roof. I had the whole building smelling like weed. He definitely knew. As long as we were playing well, he didn’t give a f*** what we were doing.”
Sounds like a don’t ask don’t tell policy was in place.
As long as you’re winning I don’t see an issue with it.
