A heartbroken Stephen A. Smith, who is a Knicks fan, opened up an NBA Finals special “First Take” on Tuesday night by claiming that Kyrie Irving has given every indication to the Brooklyn Nets that he wants to go there and not the Knicks.  He also claims that if Irving goes to Brooklyn that Kevin Durant won’t join him.

Stephen A. claims KD will go to the Knicks if the Warriors win the The Finals and if they lose, he will return to Golden State next season.

Who knows if this is actual inside information or Stephen A. in toll mode trying to stir things up?  You never really know with him.  There’s still plenty of time for free agents to make up their minds.  I don’t know why anyone would go to Brooklyn.
