Stephen A. Smith dropped a video in response to Colin Kaepernick’s workout. The ESPN personality was critical of the former 49ers quarterback for changing the venue at the last minute. He said Kaepernick doesn’t really want to play, he wants to be a martyr.
Kaepernick’s former teammate Eric Reid responded to the video and accused Stephen A. of “tap dancing” for the NFL. That didn’t sit well with Stephen A. and he sent a barrage of tweets firing back at the Panthers safety.
.@stephenasmith Tap dancing for the NFL like ⬇️. Damn straight Colin wants to control the narrative! He supposed to trust the organization that blackballed him and has done absolutely nothing in good faith??? Born on Tuesday, just not last Tuesday. https://t.co/EKztmcrDbu pic.twitter.com/gz0xnDe10e
