The Stephen Curry shimmy is a sight to behold. When Curry hit the Rockets with the shimmy in a 41-point win by the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals, it represented a return to form for Curry.

Then Chris Paul brought the shimmy back to mock Curry when the Warriors were losing to the Rockets in front of an enthusiastic Houston crowd in Game 5. So what did Curry think about getting shimmied?

“It was a tough shot. If you can shimmy on somebody else you gotta be alright getting shimmied on. So I’ll keep shimmying, and maybe he will too.” said Steph Curry.
Steph needs to cut out the shimmying, and worry about winning. This is why he will never go down as a GOAT in my opinion. He cares more about how he looks after he scores, than getting back on defense, and locating his man. Not a oood example to set for today’s young ballers. We certainly don’t need an entire generation of shimmy-ers.
