Steelers linebacker Anthony Chickillo has been cleared by the NFL in alleged domestic violence incident involving his girlfriend Alysha Newman. The league closed the investigation due to insufficient evidence.
Chickillo was arrested back in October and charged with simple assault after an incident with his Olympic pole vaulter girlfriend. A couple of weeks later all charges were withdrawn.
