Stars captain Jamie Benn was ejected from Thursday night’s 3-2 win over the Coyotes for a vicious hit on Coyotes defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson. The shot to the back sent Ekman-Larsson’s head into the glass.
The Coyotes defenseman was very slow to get up after the big time hit. Despite the ejection, Benn will not face a suspension or a fine for the devastating hit.
