Kyrie Irving to the Brooklyn Nets might be a done deal. He’s been strongly linked to the team since the end of the season and now there is word that a verbal agreement might already be in place.
According to Nets Daily, a source tied to the Nets believes a verbal agreement is already in place.
Several sources —on several occasions— have told NetsDaily that Kyrie Irving is likely headed to Brooklyn, one source saying it sounds like a “done deal”. Another source tied to the Nets believes there is already a verbal agreement in place.
Free agency doesn’t officially get underway until Sunday and next week figures to be full of action. But for the most part players have already made up their mind and know where they want to sign.
If there is already a verbal agreement in place you can expect a deal between Irving and the Nets to be completed early on in the week.
