Backup quarterback Matt Moore is 1-1 in his two starts for the Chiefs as starter Patrick Mahomes recovers from his dislocated knee cap injury. That’s enough for Skip Bayless to suggest that Kansas City is better with Moore as the team’s quarterback.
The FOX Sports troll pointed to Sunday’s last second field goal win over the Vikings as proof of that. Moore won a home game for the Chiefs, whereas Mahomes lost his last two home games.
Bayless didn’t go as far as to say Moore was a better quarterback than the reigning MVP, he’s not insane, he just wanted to point out that the Chiefs are “playing with more spirit and fight” for Moore.
