Skateboarders attempted to compete a Hot Wheels-style 16-foot tall loop during Tony Hawk’s Loop Challenge Live in Vista, California this week. It didn’t go well for most.
Only two skateboarders successfully competed the loop during an hour-long event that was streamed on NextVR. One of them was Lizzie Armanto, who by doing so became the first ever female to complete the loop.
.@Lizziearmanto really showed everyone what she was all about yesterday during @tonyhawk's Loop Challenge LIVE! π₯ Lizzie is the FIRST woman to ever complete the loop and it was EPIC! #HawkLoopInVR pic.twitter.com/XNUyeEo2Hl

Congratulations to @Lizziearmanto on becoming the first woman to complete the infamous loop yesterday. She pulled it just after our @nextvr event ended. It was an inspiring display of fierce determination and skill, and we at @birdhouse are incredibly proud. pic.twitter.com/8ekbUrxkOr
