The National Anthem has become the source of a lot of discussion in the sports world over the last couple of years. On Wednesday night in San Jose a singer botched the words after Sharks fans booed the word “night” before Game 4 of the Golden Knights and Sharks series.
The fans booed the word “night” because of the word “knight” in the Golden Knights name. The unexpected booing caused the singer to mess up the very next line.
If you’re one of these people who are offended by Colin Kaepernick kneeling during the anthem, then you must be beside yourself with outrage over people booing during it. Although many people probably have no idea this took place, because booing during the anthem is somehow not considered disrespectful.
