The Pittsburgh Penguins have made an annual tradition out of surprising season ticket holders with their tickets. The best part is they have players personally deliver them.
On Monday a few players, including Sidney Crosby made the rounds. They didn’t just handout the tickets and leave. They hung out and played a little street hockey with the kids.
Our little friend may not have the hang of hockey quite yet… You can't pick up the ball!
Regardless, he DEFINITELY had good time with @jakenbake20 on season ticket delivery day. pic.twitter.com/XQ59OcZdU6

Getting out of school to meet Sidney Crosby?

This is how you make fans for life. Not to mention the fact that the kids got to skip school too. Don’t worry, Sidney had them covered and even wrote them excuses for their absences.
How could they not excuse this? pic.twitter.com/VO5eTbmk0G

More professional sports teams should do these kinds of things with their fans.
