Zion Williamson has had a lot on his plate since he played his final game with Duke in the NCAA tournament.
Williamson was the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA draft last month to the New Orleans Pelicans.
He’s stayed busy with draft appearances, interviews, awards shows and more.
That’s exactly why Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski thinks that Williamson shouldn’t have played in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas at all.
He simply wasn’t ready to get back out on the court. But he did, and was quickly shutdown.
Williamson started out strong in his Summer League debut with the Pelicans, now he’ll just be relegated to messing around during practice.
That man can shoot.
