You have to respect your opponent at all times. Even at the end of a fight you are winning. That’s a lesson boxer Sabri Sediri learned the hard way on Saturday night.
Sediri was winning his fight against Sam Maxwell and was trying to showboat his way to the bell in the 10th round. Sediri didn’t make it.
With just 14 seconds left in the fight, Sediri caught a big right hand and was knocked out. He did attempt to get up and continue the fight, but was not able to keep his balance.
Maxwell won the fight and hopefully the respect of Sediri.
Woooooow! 😳
Sam Maxwell was losing and being taunted by his opponent all fight and then did this with 10 second to go!
Incredible knockout 👊 pic.twitter.com/qM069RZnQK

The fight isn’t over until the fight is over. Man it’s fun to see showboating fights get put to sleep. As good as you think you are, you’re always a stiff punch away from being put to sleep.
