Saints head coach Sean Payton went on ESPN’s “Get Up” on Tuesday morning and was full of information. He talked about texting Tom Brady after he joined the Buccaneers and he also talked about New Orleans’ quarterback situation.
Payton said Taysom Hill will be returning in the role he played last season as well as playing more quarterback. He also let it slip that next season with be Drew Brees’ “final season.”
Next season being his final season was news to everyone. The 41-year-old Brees just signed a two-year deal to return to the Saints this offseason.
